GALILEO'S PARTNER PRESENTATION

Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/galileoprogettinonprofit
Galileo Progetti Nonprofit Kft. is a non-profit organization, founded in 2009 and based in Budapest.
Our main objectives of Galileo are the development of the social economy and social sector and the inclusion policies of disadvantaged
people or people at risk of social exclusion, such as Roma minorities and disabled people. We work for…
- Social inclusion
- Employment
- Equal opportunities
- Inclusive and intercultural education
- Improvement of Early Childhood Education quality
- Fighting poverty, exclusion, discrimination
- Full citizenship

Through its activities, GALILEO aims to contribute to:
- a sustainable development and growth
- to strengthen social inclusion and social economy in Hungary
- promoting the sensitization of professionals and society, sharing good practices
- increase the European dimension.

We work mostly at European level, promoting the exchange of good practices and experiences, and we
work in collaboration with Hungarian private and public local bodies. We believe
that international experiences increase personal and professional skills and
have a positive impact at the local level.
We love nonformal and informal education, we love music (take a look at our office :-D ) and we love team-work!

And now… we know, you are curious! – Why the name “GALILEO”? …Take a guess! "And yet it moves “: this is a phrase attributed to the Italian physicist and
philosopher Galileo Galilei after being forced to recant his claims that the Earth moves around the Sun, rather than the converse.
Like Galileo, we want to affirm the principle that we do not give up in face of possible difficulties, and we continue to promote our ideals of a more inclusive, equitable,
ever-moving society!
